Budget Spring 2017

This spring budget did not have too many changes. To summarize briefly: The tax free personal allowance goes up to £11500 from 6 April 2017; the tax free dividend amount will go down from £5000 to £2000 from 6 April 2018. The additional inheritance tax allowance for homes passing down to children kicks in on 6 April 2017 with £100,000 as the initial additional allowance (going up the following year). The tax free ISA investment limit goes up to £20,000.
